The RODECaster Video S is a streamlined take on RODE’s larger A/V production console, offering the same powerful video switching, recording, and production tools in a sleeker, user-friendly package. The intuitive layout supports up to four Full HD video sources through three 1080p HDMI inputs and a versatile multifunction USB-C port for webcams and audio connections. To the delight of A/V engineers, audio is handled by a studio-grade APHEX processor with a slew of effects, including EQ, noise gates, filters, and more, along with a pair of Neutrik XLR combo jacks and two integrated RODE Series IV receivers for supported wireless mics. Creative tools, including video layering, graphic overlays, media playback, and automatic chroma keying, are controlled via a 2-inch high-resolution touchscreen and a backlit button pad. With ISO recording to external USB storage, Wi-Fi and Ethernet streaming, and intelligent autoswitching based on audio input, the RODECaster Video S is an indispensable tool for optimizing any production’s workflow.

Transitions, playback, and multi-source scene creation are all at your fingertips, thanks to the intuitive backlit button pad and 2-inch high-resolution touchscreen with rotary encoder. With intelligent autoswitching, the RODECaster Video S can seamlessly switch scenes based on live audio input, allowing operators to focus on the content while the system handles the flow.

Hard at work is an APHEX audio processor, which supplies an incredible suite of processing parameters, including EQ, a compressor, a noise gate, a highpass filter, and a de-esser. Further bolstered by an arsenal of integrated effects like the Aural Exciter, Big Bottom, and Compellor, every audio source is delivered with exceptional presence, balance, and clarity.

Whether you’re featuring an instrument, a piece of media, multiple microphone signals, or all of the above, the RODECaster Video S is equipped for success. Two Neutrik combo jacks, backed by Revolution Preamps, welcome 3-pin microphone connections and instrument cables with pristine quality and ultra-low noise. You can even connect RODE Series IV wireless microphones through a pair of internal wireless receivers. Expand your audio capabilities with dual USB-C audio interfaces, output to stereo destinations, and monitor your final product through two 1/4-inch headphone outputs.
