Compact Digital Mixer with dLive Power

The Allen & Heath Avantis Solo digital mixer was built to revolutionize the way you mix live sound. Equipped with the same dLive technology as Allen & Heath’s flagship mixers, the Avantis Solo is a 64-channel / 42-bus compact console that strikes the perfect balance between old-school analog mixing and cutting-edge digital processing. Those who love analog mixers will appreciate the 12 channel strips complete with manual faders and PAFL switches. The unit has a 15.6-inch DSP touchscreen that offers gesture control, fully customizable routing options, and 72 fader strips (12 faders, six layers). Whether it’s handling a few mic connections or synchronizing gear with the word clock and connecting to a Dante network, the Avantis Solo can handle all your live sound needs.

Customizable layout gives you total control

If you’re like audio engineers and want to control as much of the performance as possible, you’ll love the Avantis Solo. Why? This compact unit gives you total control over mix bus architecture and lets you customize the layout in whatever way that makes the most sense to you. Avantis Solo is loaded with Continuity UI that uses drag ‘n’ drop parameters and physical controls to create an intuitive workflow with at-a-glance navigation. As if that’s not enough control, the Avantis Solo by Allen & Heath has 18 assignable SoftKeys and user-configurable rotary controls.

    15.6-inch touchscreen turbocharges your workflow

Allen & Health wanted to make the Avantis Solo their most flexible compact mixer yet. To do that, they loaded the unit with Continuity UI and a 15.6-inch high-definition touchscreen. This screen is ultra-responsive and utilizes gesture controls to pinch, swipe, and drag ‘n’ drop your way through the intuitive interface. You can open configurable widget areas to load up your scenes, meters, and use RackExtra FX to add effects like Reverb, Chorus, and Delays. With the abundance of options and user control, your workflow will look and feel exactly how you want it to.

Superior expandability can handle it all

Straight out of the box, Avantis Solo can handle six XLR inputs and outputs, network I/O, and SLink connections to handle 64 channels at a time with 72 fader strips. The Avantis Solo has two I/O ports on the back that are each capable of 128 x 128 operation at 96kHz for cards including Dante, MADI, Waves, and gigaACE. This mixer has an SLink port that controls your I/O expanders, stage boxes, and networked equipment. Allen & Heath ZED22FX Analog Mixing Console

    78,999.00

Built-in Effects and It’s Record Ready Too!

A solid mixer with great effects! The ZED-22 FX is the perfect center to your live rig — and it’s also ready to rock in the studio. First of all, the Allen & Heath ZED-22 FX gives you all the connections you need to hook up a small band, duo, or solo performer. Thanks to the 16 mic/line channels you can connect all the mics and DI boxes you need. Plus you’ve got three dual stereo channels available, each with a gain and 2-band EQ control. The FX in the name, though, is what takes the cake. Here, you can get tweaky with 16 separate effects for nailing the perfect, polished live sound with the ZED-22FX. The record-ready Allen & Heath ZED-22 FX will be the centerpiece to your live sound rig!

Tons of power under the hood

Those guys and gals at Allen & Heath definitely know mixers. And their ZED series is super popular for a number of reasons, not the least of which because it puts first-Class A&H quality at a new affordable price point. This is a mixer your band is going to be proud to use. More than that, it sounds great. We’ve already mentioned a bit about the I/O capabilities, but you’ll also want to know that it has four aux sends available — 1 and 2 are pre-fade and 3 and 4 are post-fade for monitoring with effects. Here’s the magic. You can send a stereo signal from the auxes via USB right to your computer, so you can create two separate record feeds that are totally independent of the main L/R mix. The ZED-22 FX is Mac and PC compatible and you’ve got three send/return configurations for recording, playback, and external FX. That’s a lot of power.

    Onboard Effects

Now for the effects. Onboard, 16 separate effects have been crafted into the ZED-22 FX mixer, ready for any kind of live sound material you face. These include a number of useful delays and reverbs, including a ping-pong delay and a selection of reverbs with different room/hall/arena properties. You’ll also dig the flanger and chorus. Every effect has a parameter you can tweak to dial in your sound and five of the effects support tap tempo for really getting into the groove. All in all, with the combination of mic/line inputs (and these preamps are awesome, by the way), professional effects, recording capabilities, and bullet-proof construction, you can’t go wrong with the Allen & Heath ZED-22 FX. Get one!

Allen & Heath QU24 Chrome Digital Mixing Console

    249,999.00

    Fast Workflow and Stellar Sound

Whether you’re recording in the studio or mixing front of house, your mixer is the core of your operation. If it fights you, your work suffers. Many digital consoles are inscrutable on the surface, forcing you to descend into menu purgatory just to perform a simple function. The Allen & Heath Qu-24 Chrome Edition is designed with a clean, logical layout, so you can get to what you need, fast. Featuring audiophile sound quality, touchscreen control, 24 AnalogiQ preamps integrated with DSP, total recall, 25 flying faders, high-efficiency ARM core processing, studio-grade effects, an integrated multitrack USB recorder, and truckloads more, the Allen & Heath Qu-24 Chrome Edition will drastically improve both your workflow and your end product.

Chrome Edition adds more monitor mixes, spectrogram, and Automatic Mic Mixer

The Qu-24 Chrome Edition expands on the already impressive Qu-24 mixer, while also adding high-contrast metallic-finished controls. A spectrogram display has been added to help you find feedback and problem frequencies fast. More monitor mixes are now available. And the Qu-24 Chrome Edition’s Automatic Mic Mixer mode automatically balances up to 16 microphone inputs, perfect for conferences, panel talks, and TV shows. It’s ideal for novices and volunteers that may not be comfortable mixing a large number of mics, and it’s also great for pros who have more important things to do than ride faders.

Intuitive — and very comfortable to work on

Having a mixer with massive processing power and sophisticated functionality is nice, but if you can’t get to the controls you need instantly, it’s all for naught. With the Qu-24 Chrome Edition, the digital console has evolved to the point where you forget that it’s digital and just get on with your session, fluidly and efficiently. Without menu diving. Allen & Heath put years of research into ergonomics and the hands-on mixing experience, resulting in digital consoles that deliver a natural, logical layout and workflow. Your most-used processing tools are presented clearly on the SuperStrip, with one function per physical control. Whether you’re a digital novice or coming from years of analog mixing, you’ll find the Qu-24 Chrome Edition intuitive — and very comfortable to work on.

Touchscreen control speeds up your workflow

The Allen & Heath Qu-24 Chrome Edition rocks a 16-million-color, 800 x 480 touchscreen with an integrated data encoder – the core of a user interface that gives you quick and easy access to all your settings. Designed for clarity, the user-friendly interface has dedicated keys and screen tabs that let you quickly get to your meter and RTA views, effects racks, channel processing, USB audio control, setup menus, scenes, and much more.

AnalogiQ preamps and 24-bit conversion for warm, musical sound

Allen & Heath fortified the Qu-24 Chrome Edition with 24 of their superb AnalogiQ total-recall preamps. Featuring phantom power, zero crossing detection, and a unique pad-less, 1dB-step gain stage, the preamps are married to the DSP for optimum transparency and gain accuracy. The analog signal is captured by high-quality, low-latency 24-bit A/D converters matched to high-grade 24-bit D/A converters. A&H has spent considerable time refining the AnalogiQ design so it gives you stellar transparency, with minimum distortion and a vanishingly low noise floor. But how do these preamps sound? Take it from Electronic Emporium, the Qu-24 Chrome Edition is delightfully analog-sounding — warm and musical.

Total-recall moving-fader automation supercharges your mixing

We first saw moving faders on some of the high-end, large-format consoles of the late 1970s. With the advent of digital technology, flying faders later became fairly standard, albeit not on entry-level digital mixers. Fader automation is a must-have for efficient mixing, particularly when you’re dealing with multiple monitor mixes. Simply push a mix key, and the faders immediately fly to the send levels for that mix. The Qu-24 Chrome Edition sports 25 motorized ALPS faders. The 24 channel faders are arranged over two layers, giving you instant access to all your channels and masters in a compact space. There’s also a dedicated master fader that dynamically follows your mix selection. A third (custom) layer is available for the configurable user strip layout, where you can assign any combination of Inputs, FX Sends, FX Returns, and Mix masters.

Powerful functionality added in v1.9 software

The Qu series ecosystem is constantly being refined, and v1.9 of the Qu software adds even more functionality. More mic presets for Shure, Sennheiser and Audio-Technica mics are now available, making it easier than ever to dial in great sound fast with any mic in any application. You’ll find a ton of advanced iPad control options too, like the ability to patch channels between dSnake, USB, Qu Drive and ME personal monitoring systems. You can set up various User profiles with different levels of permissions, manage your Scene memory, Copy/Paste channel settings, and manage USB devices. And v1.9 adds Windows DAW control support, for all popular Windows platforms.
