The Behringer XENYX Q802USB mixer is made to handle live gigs, and provide you with the required tools necessary to capture professional-quality recordings. Along with its built-in USB/audio interface, and “one-knob” mono channel compressor, the XENYX Q802USB mixer comes with enough recording and editing software to turn your computer into a complete recording studio. The second-most compact of the XENYX Q Series, the 8-input, 2-bus XENYX Q802USB has two phantom-powered XENYX mic preamps, making it possible to use up to two dynamic and/or studio-grade condenser mics. Onboard 3-band British EQ makes it easy to fine-tune any input signal and is available on both the mic and stereo channels. Another feature exclusive to the Q802USB is an FX Send control per channel, allowing you to use an external effects processor to add the finishing touch to your performance or recording. XENYX Mic Preamps
All XENYX mixers have one thing in common; great-sounding, high headroom XENYX mic preamps. XENYX preamps offer 130dB of dynamic range with a bandwidth that extends from below 10Hz to well above 200kHz. As a result, XENYX mixers can reproduce a cleaner, transparent performance.

British EQ

A solid mixer with great effects! The Allen & Heath ZED-10FX is the perfect center to your live rig – and it’s also ready to rock in the studio. First of all, the ZED-10FX gives you all the connections you need to hook up a small band, a duo, or a solo performer. Thanks to the four mic/line channels (these preamps are awesome, by the way) you can connect all the mics and DI boxes you need. Plus you’ve got three dual-stereo channels available, each with a gain control and a 2-band EQ. The FX in the name, though, is what takes the cake. Here, you can get tweaky with the ZED-10FX’s 16 separate effects, for nailing the perfect, polished live sound.
Check out these effects! Allen & Heath crafted 16 separate effects into the ZED-10FX mixer, ready for any kind of live sound material you face. These effects include a number of useful delays and reverbs, including a ping-pong delay and a selection of reverbs with different room/hall/arena properties. You’ll also dig the flanger and the chorus. Each effect has a parameter you can tweak to dial in your sound. Five of the effects support tap tempo, for really getting into the groove.

However, unlike many other mixers with onboard effects, the ZED-10FX is first and foremost a mixer. You can send a stereo signal via USB right to your computer.
