Yamaha CXS15 MK3 Passive Subwoofer

DXS-inspired Performance in a Passive Design Built on the same acoustic design philosophy as Yamaha’s latest DXS series, the CXS15mk3 provides clear, reliable sound in a streamlined passive format.

Featuring a refined long-excursion driver with a 15-inch woofer and a 3-inch voice coil, the CXS15mk3 is designed for punchy, controlled low-end response in both portable and installed sound systems, with a max SPL of 126dB. Yamaha’s optimized bandpass and port design help the CXS15mk3 maintain balanced projection and smooth coverage across a wide listening area, throughout its 35Hz–140Hz frequency range.

The lightweight yet durable enclosure is built for repeated transport while upholding the rugged dependability Yamaha subwoofers are known for. Whether reinforcing live vocals, instruments, or playback, live sound experts find that the CXS15mk3 delivers straightforward performance.
