The EW-D receiver also includes a rack kit for seamless integration into your stage and studio pro audio setups.
EW-D SKM-S handheld transmitter
With the Sennheiser SKM-S handheld wireless transmitter, setup couldn't be easier. This device pairs to your receiver in seconds using the Sync command. Its spacious, ergonomic design allows plenty of real estate for handheld and stand-mounted operation. One feature Sweetwater sound engineers are quick to note is the SKM-S's foolproof on/off switch, which is as intuitive as we've seen in a wireless system. A pair of AA batteries nets you up to eight hours of wireless operation. Want to go green and save some green in the process? Connect the optional Sennheiser BA-70 rechargeable lithium-ion battery pack (not included) and get up to 12 hours or performance on a single charge.
MMD 835 mic capsule
The Sennheiser MMD 835 is a dynamic cardioid mic capsule specially designed for Sennheiser wireless audio systems. Based on the e835 stage vocal mic — a reigning champ of the live entertainment world — the MMD 835 capsule gives you great sound and solid performance. This capsule's uniform voice pickup maintains sonic integrity when moving on and off axis, which makes it useful for everyone from lead singers and backup vocalists to presentation speakers. The MMD 835's gentle generous 40Hz–16kHz frequency response and presence boost provide a sound that is clear, powerful, and flattering. Minimal proximity effect provides consistently uniform bass performance when singing closer to or further from the mic.
EW-D SK body pack transmitter
The Sennheiser SK wireless body pack transmitter gives you full freedom of motion onstage, in the round, and on the platform. Connect the included lavalier mic, and you're locked and loaded for rock-solid wireless performance. The compact SK body pack clips discreetly onto a belt or slips into a back pocket. As with the handheld SKM-S transmitter above, the SK body pack can be powered via two AA batteries or the optional BA-70 battery pack (not included).
ME2 omnidirectional lavalier mic
As part of your Evolution Wireless Digital microphone system, the Sennheiser ME2 lav mic delivers clean, full-range voice reproduction without obscuring sight lines between the presenter and the audience. This mic's speech-tailored pickup and high SPL handling suit it well to any stage or presentational environment. The ME2's omnidirectional polar pattern reduces the need for precision placement — slip it under a wig or clip it to a shirt, and you're sure to get the intelligibility you're after. The ME2's screw-on connector fits securely into the SK body pack, so you're free to move and emote without fear of losing your connection to the crowd.
