Using the USB output engages the built-in Revolution preamp circuitry for tons of gain without distracting noise. Furthermore, the APHEX DSP helps you deliver a polished, broadcast-quality sound. There’s also a zero-latency headphone output with a level control for monitoring your voice at the source. The RODE PodMic USB dynamic broadcast microphone is compatible with Mac, PC, iOS, and Android.

By using the PodMic USB’s digital USB-C output gives you access to onboard DSP (digital signal processing) and RODE’s fan-favorite Revolution microphone preamp. The built-in Revolution preamp amplifies your vocal signal without injecting any distracting noise or annoying buzz. Meanwhile, the onboard APHEX DSP gently polishes the USB-C’s signal to a radio-ready sheen. You no longer have to be a recording virtuoso to get great vocals for a podcast.
