The Allen & Heath AHM-32 is a 32-in/32-out audio matrix processor that’s tailor-made for sound management and installation. You get 12 channels of bi-directional analog I/O, along with an I/O port for networking up to 128 bi-directional channels. The AHM-32 also boasts 32 configurable processing outputs for mono/stereo zones or speaker processing, plus a 96kHz FPGA core with ultra-low latency. Here, we appreciate the AHM-32’s easy-to-read front-panel screen and intuitive navigation. You also get compatibility with remote controllers, GPIO and third-party integration, plus eight programmable SoftKeys for effortless volume control, source select, preset recall, and more. As for sound management, the AHM-32 includes four automatic mic mixers, 12 channels of acoustic echo cancellation, ambient noise compensation, priority ducking, plus EQ, dynamics, and delay on every input and zone.
